How does the Percentage Calculator work?
A percentage is a number expressed as a fraction of 100. To find X% of Y, use X / 100 × Y. For example, 20% of 150 is 0.20 × 150 = 30.
To find what percent A is of B, divide A by B and multiply by 100. For example, 30 / 150 × 100 = 20%. The second result shows what percent your first input is of the second.
